| Mid 2006, two years
have passed since Mount Merapi errupted, forcing locals
living at the slope saving for their lives from the mountain's
wrath. Not the first for them.
After the dusts and chaos fade away. When peacefulness
replacing anger, Merapi brings a lot of blessing for
the villagers around its slope. One of them is the constant
flow of active lava to the valley near the villages.
The active lava produces top quality rock and sands
for raw materials. Most of the villagers live their
life as sand and rock miners at the valley.
They are not only working to make ends meet but also
keeping the harmony in balance.
